About SDC


These are sample schedules. SDC's Director schedules each day based on the needs of the students, evaluated throughout the program. Every day is different and will include other classes like Classical or Contemporary Partnering, Character Dance, Repertoire Rehearsals for the Program's Demonstration, 1-hour flexibility training with SDC's rhythmic gymnastic coach and Academics.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE FROM PARTNERING INTENSIVE
  • 9:00-12:00 Technique with the Director
  • 12:15-1:05 Pointe
  • 1:10-2:00 Partnering Class with Professional Male Company Members
  • 2:15-3:15 Privately coached rehearsal for pas de deux
  • 3:30-4:00 Private Coaching - Technique and Pointe Work (Director determines the content)
  • 4:15-4:45 Strength Training
  • 5:30-6:00 Flexibility Training
*Schedules vary for each student to allow private rehearsals and private coaching. Schedule often includes Contemporary Technique and Choreography as well.
